This policy explains how Hoobal Ltd ("Hoobal", "we", "us") collects and uses personal data through this website, enquiry-manager.com and our software, including the Enquiry Manager apps for iOS and web. We are the data controller for the data described here.

Data we collect

Account data — name, email address, phone number, job role and the dealership you work for.
Enquiry data — details of customer enquiries your dealership enters or receives, such as customer names, contact details, and the boats, engines or products they are interested in. Your dealership controls this data; we process it on its behalf.
Usage and device data — app version, device type, operating system, crash logs and diagnostic information.
Notifications — a device token, if you allow push notifications.
Website enquiries — the name, company, email address, phone number and message you send us through the contact form on enquiry-manager.com or by email.

How we use it

To provide, maintain and support the service.
To sign you in and keep your account secure.
To send service messages and notifications you have enabled.
To diagnose faults and improve the software.
To reply to enquiries you send us.

We do not sell personal data, use it for advertising, or track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Legal basis

We process data to perform our contract with you or your dealership, to meet legal obligations, and for our legitimate interest in running and improving the service.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers that help us run the service (such as hosting, email delivery and crash reporting), under contracts that require them to protect it, or where required by law. You can ask us for a list of the providers we currently use.

Storage and retention

Data is stored in the UK or the European Economic Area. If a service provider processes data outside these areas, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement. We keep account data while your account is active and delete it within 90 days of closure, unless we must keep it longer by law.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or export your personal data, or object to how we use it. To delete your account and associated data, email [email protected]. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Children

Our software is for business use and is not directed at children under 16.
